The Tuesday ritual
It started with one cigar a week and a stubborn belief that the best conversations happen slowly. That belief still runs the place.

Dienstag is German for "Tuesday" — the quiet middle of the week, when the noise dies down and there's finally room to sit with a good cigar. That's the whole idea, right there in the name.
The Founder
Our founder, Otto Brandt, spent twenty years in the trades before he ever thought about opening a lounge. The ritual started small — a single cigar on Tuesday evenings, out on the back porch, once the week's chaos had settled.
What began as one man's weekly reset slowly turned into an open invitation. Friends started showing up. Then friends of friends. The porch got crowded, the conversations got better, and Otto realized North Liberty didn't have a proper room for exactly this: unhurried company, a good smoke, and nowhere else to be.
So he built one.
How it came together
It started with one cigar a week and a stubborn belief that the best conversations happen slowly. That belief still runs the place.
When the space beside WineStyles opened up, the fit was obvious — a full bar next door and a lounge that finally had room to breathe.
Leather that wears in, wood that ages well, and a humidor kept honest. Nothing here is meant to be temporary.
The invitation still stands
Otto's porch only held so many. This room holds a few more — and there's a locker with your name on it.
